Q I am not sure if I have a C wire, How do I determine if I do?

A There are two ways to determine if you have a “C” or common wire. 1) If there was a wire hooked up to the “C” terminal on the old thermostat, hook it up to the new one. 2) If you have a spare wire in the wall you can go to the connector panel at the furnace end and check for a “C” or ac common connector and connect the extra wire to there and then to the “C” on the new Ritetemp thermostat. Also reference page 22 of the Professional reference guide.
